Bertazzoni PROF366RTBXT Brass Rangetop

Six brass MonoBloc burners, sealed and electronically ignited, sit under continuous cast-iron grates on the PROF366RTBXT. This Professional Series rangetop is 36 inches wide and has no oven, so it lives in a countertop cutout, usually below a hood, with a separate wall oven elsewhere in the kitchen.
The brass burners are one-piece, and a cap that does not seat perfectly after cleaning will distort the flame, so cap fit is the first thing we check. We then test the igniters and look at the ports. A burner that lights but drops out points to flame sensing or a partly blocked port. If you smell gas, leave the house and call the gas utility from outside.
Our work comes with a written price beforehand and a 30-day workmanship warranty.
The cap may be sitting slightly off or a port may hold water. Dry everything, set the cap flat and relight. If the flame is still uneven, we inspect the burner base.
It should sit level and not rock or spin. Press gently at the edge. A cap that moves will leave gaps in the flame ring.
Yes. Sealing keeps spills out of the cooktop, but boiled-over liquid can still run into a port. Clean ports with a soft brush, never with sharp metal.
