Bertazzoni CB36600X Rangetop Service

The CB36600X is a 36-inch gas rangetop with six burners, part of the Professional Series. Without an oven below, it is set into a counter cutout, commonly with cabinetry or drawers beneath and a hood overhead. Because the gas connection sits under the counter, the cabinet below it is part of the service picture.
Our visit begins by lighting each burner in turn, watching which ones hesitate and how the flame looks. Then we clean the ports, check the cap fit and test the igniter at any burner that was slow. If the clicking continues even after the flame is lit, we look at the ignition module. A gas smell should always lead you outside and to the gas utility first.
You will see a written price before work starts, and the work is covered by our 30-day workmanship warranty.
The connection is similar, but it runs under the counter instead of behind a freestanding unit. The shutoff should be reachable through the cabinet, and we confirm that first.
That burner's port, cap or igniter is the likely cause, not the whole unit. We clean and reseat first, then test the igniter's spark. If cleaning does not help, we test that burner's igniter before touching the module.
A basic cleaning of the cap, burner head and ports takes a short time, but we also test ignition afterward to be sure the burner lights cleanly. That check covers every burner, not only the one you noticed.
