On the Bertazzoni MO30STANE built-in microwave and the MD24X and MD24LX microwave drawers, ERROR appears if an incorrect clock time is entered. During sensor cooking it appears if the sensor does not detect vapor properly, and the microwave turns off. It also appears as an error message if Stop/Clear is pressed or the door is opened during the sensing phase.
1. Touch Stop/Clear. 2. If you were setting the clock, enter the time again with valid numbers. 3. For sensor cooking, wipe the cavity and start again without opening the door early. 4. Use a covered dish if the food is very dry. 5. If ERROR shows on every attempt, call us.
The sensor could not detect vapor from the food properly, or the door or Stop/Clear was used during the sensing phase. Start again and do not open the door until sensing is complete, because that interrupts the reading.
Yes, it can. If you enter an incorrect time the microwave shows ERROR. Touch Stop/Clear and enter a valid time again, using numbers that make a real time of day.
Unplug it for a minute and plug it back in. If ERROR still appears on every attempt, even for simple timed cooking, do not open the case and call us. We quote in writing first.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
