Bertazzoni HER366BCFEPNG Dual Fuel Range

Bertazzoni range

Most common issues on this model

  1. Burner sparking but never catching
  2. Oven bake temperature off because the sensor has drifted
  3. Door lock staying engaged after a self-clean
  4. Convection fan growing noisy

HER366BCFEPNG is a 36-inch freestanding dual fuel range from the Heritage Series, with six gas burners on top and an electric convection oven below. The retro styling is carried by chrome-accented knobs and trim, and the range is available in a variety of color finishes. It is made in Italy and usually stands between base cabinets along a kitchen wall.

Dual fuel means two systems to look after. On the gas side we check the igniter, the burner caps and the valves. On the electric side we look at the temperature sensor, the convection fan and the door lock after self-clean. If you ever smell gas, leave the house and call the gas utility from outside before you call us.

A written price comes first, and we back the work for 30 days.

HER366BCFEPNGHER366BCFEPNG questions
One burner sparks but does not light. What is usually wrong?

A worn igniter electrode, a burner cap that is not seated, or a port blocked by spilled food is most common. We clean and reseat the burner, then test the igniter and spark module.

Why does my oven bake differently from the dial temperature?

The temperature sensor can drift with age and send the control the wrong reading. We test its resistance and compare the oven's real temperature against the setting before recommending a replacement.

The convection fan makes a whirring noise. Is it safe to keep using?

A light whirr is normal, but grinding or a rhythmic scrape is not. Turn off the oven, and we will inspect the fan blade and motor for a loose wheel or worn bearings.
