Bertazzoni MAST365IRTXT Induction Rangetop

The MAST365IRTXT is a Master Series induction rangetop, 36 inches wide with five zones and a stainless steel finish. It has no oven under it, so it is normally dropped into a countertop cutout over drawers or a cabinet, often across from a wall oven stack. Because the cooling fan draws air from below, the cabinet beneath matters.
When a zone fails we put a known magnetic pan on it first, then try the bridge function across neighboring zones to see whether the problem follows the pan, the zone or the pairing. Next we check what is stored under the unit: bins or boxes pushed against the vents choke the fan and cause zones to shut off. Connections and power electronics under the glass come after that.
We quote the price in writing before the repair and cover our work with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
The two zones have to be adjacent and each needs a working connection to the electronics. We test each zone alone first, then the pairing, so we can tell a zone problem from a bridging problem.
Keep the space below clear enough for airflow. Pots are fine if they do not block the vents or touch the underside. Blocked air makes the fan work harder and can shut zones down.
The glass is heated mainly by the pan, so it stays cooler than a radiant surface, but it still holds heat after cooking. Let it cool before cleaning, and wipe sugary spills at once.
