On current Bertazzoni Professional, Master and Heritage ranges, such as the MAS366BCFGMXT, it is normal for the cooling fan to keep running, on and off, for up to 30 minutes after the oven is switched off. The fan is cooling the controls. The owner hears a fan or feels airflow near the panel after cooking is done, and may think the oven did not turn off.
1. Confirm the oven knobs and the burner knobs are in the OFF position. 2. Wait up to 30 minutes and listen for the fan to stop. 3. Check that no items are blocking the vents above the oven door. 4. If the fan runs for hours after the oven is off, call us.
No. The fan may cycle on and off for up to 30 minutes after the oven is switched off to keep the controls cool. It will stop by itself.
We do not recommend it. Cutting power early takes cooling away just when the oven is still hot, which is the opposite of what the fan is for.
If the fan runs for much longer than 30 minutes, or runs with the oven fully cold, we should check the controls. We give a written price before any work.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
