Bertazzoni MAS486INMBG Six-Zone Induction Service

Six induction zones stretch across the 48-inch top of the MAS486INMBG, a gold-accented Master Series range that is also sold as the MAS486INMNG. An electric oven sits below, and the whole range runs on electricity with no gas at all.
A cooktop this wide has plenty of electronics under the glass, and the first signs of aging are usually small: a fan that gets louder, a zone that turns off when the pan is moved, a touch control that needs a second tap. We follow a plain order. Supply and breaker first, then cookware, then the fan path, then the power board of the zone that misbehaves. The electric oven is checked separately for element, sensor and seal.
Our repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty.
It may only be the pan: it has to be magnetic and large enough for the zone. If a known good pan is ignored there too, the zone's sensing circuit or power board needs testing, and we do that on site.
Moisture, grease film and a tired control board can all slow the panel. We clean the glass, test the controls and replace the panel or board if it stays unresponsive.
Yes, the oven is electric on its own element and sensor, so a cooktop issue does not stop baking. We still diagnose both, since a supply issue can affect them together.
