Bertazzoni PROF244GASXE Compact Gas Range
A narrow 24-inch Professional Series range, the PROF244GASXE has four burners and runs entirely on gas. It is the sort of range that goes into a compact kitchen, a condo or a secondary kitchen where every inch counts, and tight clearances at the sides leave little room for heat and grease to escape.
In small kitchens, grease and moisture reach the igniters faster, so we start there. The igniters, caps and ports are cleaned and tested, and then the spark module. We also look at how far the range can be pulled out without stressing the gas connector, since the room to work is limited. If gas odor appears, leave and call the gas utility from outside.
You will see the written price before we begin, and our work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Tight cabinetry traps heat, so we check the clearance and side panels. Keep the gap free of storage and wipe the sides, since grease near the burners makes lighting less dependable.
A dirty igniter tip or a damp port delays ignition. Cleaning and drying usually fixes it. If it still needs several clicks, we test the spark module.
Often we can reach the top and the burners in place, but a full check of the gas connection or oven burner needs it pulled forward. We take care to protect your flooring.
