On Bertazzoni knob-controlled 30-inch electric wall ovens such as the F30PROXV, F30CONXV and FD30PROXV, and on DFS XT dual-fuel ranges, a CLEAN light that flashes along with the alarm sound means electrical power failed during the self-clean cycle. The cleaning cycle was interrupted, and the cooling fans stay on to bring the oven temperature down. The door stays latched while the oven is still hot.
1. Turn both oven selectors to OFF to reset the alarm. 2. Let the cooling fans run until the oven is cool. 3. Check that the breaker has not tripped and that other kitchen items have power. 4. Wait 3 to 4 hours, then try the cleaning cycle again. 5. If the alarm returns without a power outage, call us.
Because power was lost during the cleaning cycle. The oven recorded the interruption and warns you. Setting both selectors to OFF resets the alarm and lets the oven cool.
The cooling fans stay on after the interruption to bring the oven down from cleaning temperature. They will switch off themselves once the oven has cooled enough.
After the reset, wait 3 to 4 hours, then repeat the cleaning cycle. If the alarm returns with no outage or tripped breaker, call us so we can test the oven.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
