On current Bertazzoni built-in ovens, such as the PROF30FSEXV and FPRO30FSSTX, a showroom or demo function lets the display work normally while the oven draws no power for heating. The oven does not heat and does not consume power, yet the clock, lights and controls respond as they would on display in a store. If an oven that should heat stays cold, check whether the showroom function was left on after installation.
1. Read the display for any showroom or demo indication. 2. Turn the oven off and on again, then try a bake at 350F. 3. Check the control instructions that came with the oven for the way to switch the showroom function off, and follow them exactly. 4. If the oven still does not heat once the mode is off, call us.
It may still be in showroom mode, which keeps the display working while the oven consumes no power and does not heat. Turning that function off normally restores heating.
The method depends on the series. Check the control instructions for your model, or send us the model number and we will tell you the exact steps over the phone.
It is not a part failure, so it is simply a setting. We can switch it off on a visit, and our workmanship carries a 30-day warranty if anything else is repaired.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
