On Bertazzoni KG30X, KG36X and KG48X range hoods, the display item C flashes alternating with the letter F when the grease filters must be washed. When it alternates with C and F, the carbon filters must be replaced. Holding the B key for about 5 seconds resets the reminder. The owner sees the letters blinking while the hood continues to run.
1. Read which letters alternate on the display. 2. Take out the grease filters, wash them in warm soapy water and let them dry. 3. Swap the carbon filters for new ones if that is the message. 4. Refit the filters and hold B for about 5 seconds. 5. If the display still blinks, call us.
C alternating with F means wash the grease filters. C alternating with C and F means replace the carbon filters. Watch the letters for a few seconds to tell which one is showing.
Hold the B key for about 5 seconds after the filter service. The letters stop blinking and the hood starts counting again toward the next reminder.
Often enough that the reminder does not come up. Heavy frying or wok cooking means shorter intervals, and the display tells you when the time has come.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
