The KOTR24MXE is a 24-inch Master Series over-the-range microwave oven with a 300 CFM vent. The narrower width suits kitchens with a 24-inch range, where a standard 30-inch microwave would overhang.
With a 300 CFM vent working over a cooktop, filters collect grease and the blower motor carries a heavier load than in a countertop microwave. We clean the filters, check the blower for noise and airflow, and look at the door switches and turntable drive. If the oven stops heating, we test the electrical parts that generate microwave power and tell you what is needed in writing before we begin.
