Bertazzoni MAS365INMXV Induction Range Service

The MAS365INMXV is a 36-inch induction range with five zones, usually set in a long run of cabinetry with a heavy-duty electrical feed. Its right-side zones can bridge for a griddle or a roasting pan, and that bridge is a feature people use constantly.
At the cooktop, we heat a wide pan on a single zone and look for hot and cold patches, then leave a pot at a low simmer for a good while to see whether the zone shuts down. Next we bridge the two right-hand zones and slide a large pan across them to see if the link holds.
Under the range, the plinth fan should stop a short time after power-down. In the oven we compare the sensor reading with a probe thermometer, since a fixed reading points straight to the sensor. We tell you the price in writing before we begin.
The zone may be cutting out to protect its electronics, or the pan may lose contact with the sensing area. We test with a flat pan and then check the cooling path and the power module for that zone.
A short cool-down run is normal. If it continues for a long time, the electronics may be staying hot or the sensor reading is off. We check airflow, the sensor and the fan control to find the reason.
Bridging needs a steady signal from both zones. We test each zone alone, check the connectors, and see whether the pan base is flat enough. Fixing one weak zone usually restores the bridge.
