Bertazzoni MAST365INMXE Induction Range Repair

Bertazzoni range

Most common issues on this model

  1. Heat that varies across one zone, with hot and cold areas in a single pan
  2. Unreliable linking of two zones in bridge mode
  3. A zone that turns itself off partway through cooking
  4. Rack that tips forward when pulled out

The MAST365INMXE is a legacy 36-inch induction range from the Master Series, normally installed on a dedicated 240-volt circuit between base cabinets. It is Italian-built, and five zones with a bridge give plenty of cooking area, but the electronics under the glass do the real work.

When a pan shows hot and cold spots on one zone, we test that zone with a flat pan and read its output over time. A burner that switches itself off midway through a cook points us to the thermal protection and the cooling path. The bridge zone is tested by linking two burners and moving a pan across them.

Rack safety deserves a look too. If a telescopic rack tips forward when pulled out, a hot dish can slide, so we adjust or replace it. We always give a written price first.

MAST365INMXEMAST365INMXE questions
Why does my pan heat unevenly on one zone?

The coil under that zone may be failing or the pan base may not be sitting flat. We try a flat pan, then measure that zone's output over several minutes to see whether the coil or the driver is responsible.

A burner switches off by itself while I am cooking. Why?

Induction zones shut down when they get too hot or lose the pan signal. We test the cooling airflow and fan, then the temperature sensor and driver, to find which one is triggering the shutdown.

My oven rack tilts when I pull it out. Is that dangerous?

Yes, because a heavy dish can slip off. We check that the rack is in its correct slot and that the glides are not bent or worn, and replace the glide set if it will not stay level.
