On Bertazzoni KG hoods, such as the KG30CONX and KG36CONX, the hood goes into alarm mode after 40 hours of use and light B, the first-speed light, flashes while the motor is off. This tells you the mesh filters must be cleaned. To reset it, press B and C together with the motor off. The owner sees the first-speed light blinking on an idle hood, and the hood itself still works.
1. With the motor off, take out the mesh filters. 2. Wash them in warm soapy water or the dishwasher and let them dry completely. 3. Put them back in the hood. 4. Press B and C together to reset the alarm. 5. If light B still flashes, call us.
After 40 hours of use the hood goes into alarm mode and asks for the mesh filters to be cleaned. The first-speed light blinks while the motor is off.
With the motor off, press B and C together once the filters are clean and back in place. The blinking stops and the 40 hours start again.
Yes. Light C blinking after 120 hours is the carbon filter alert for recirculating installs, and that one is reset with B and D together.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
