On Bertazzoni built-in freezer columns with a TFT display, such as the REF24FCIPRR, REF30FCIPIXL and REF18FCIPRL, an Error Code message reports functional problems. The display does not show the whole story at once. Touch the Alarm key to see the error number, and give that number when you call for service so the cause can be found quickly. The freezer may still be cold, but it should be checked.
1. Touch the Alarm key on the display to see the error number. 2. Write the number down or take a photo. 3. Keep the door closed so the freezer stays cold. 4. Check that the unit has power and the breaker is on. 5. Call us with the model and the number.
Touch the Alarm key on the display and the number appears. Write it down before you call, since it helps us understand what the freezer is reporting.
Check the temperature shown on the display. If it is rising, move food to another freezer. If it stays cold, keep the door closed and call us.
A power cut itself shows Power Failure. An error code means a functional problem, so call us with the number and we will test the freezer.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
