On current Bertazzoni Heritage, Professional and Master dishwashers such as the DW24T3IXV, DW24S3IPV and the 18-inch DW18S2IPV, F1 means Overflow. The recommended response is to unplug the machine, close the water tap and contact service. The dishwasher stops because water has risen higher than it should inside, and you will see F1 on the display, often with water at the bottom of the tub or base.
1. Unplug the dishwasher or switch off its breaker. 2. Close the water tap or shutoff valve to the dishwasher. 3. Mop up water on the floor and inside the tub. 4. Check under the sink for a wet hose connection. 5. Do not restart. Call us and tell us the model.
Unplug the dishwasher, close the water tap and contact service. Doing that stops more water entering while the cause is found, and it protects the floor and cabinets.
They carry the same idea. The older DW24XV, DW24XT, DW24PR and DW18PR use E4 for overflow, while the current Heritage, Professional and Master machines use F1.
The tap and power should be off first. Once the cause is removed, a technician can test the drain safely. Running the machine with a leak risks more water on your floor.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
