Bertazzoni MAS365DFMBG 36-Inch Dual Fuel Service

At 36 inches, the MAS365DFMBG is the wider cousin of the 30-inch Master Series ranges, and it usually anchors a kitchen where the cabinets were cut for a larger range. Gas burners sit above an electric oven, and the gold accents mark this version; the same range is also sold as the MAS365DFMNG.
A wider cooktop means more room between burners, but also more distance for spills to travel into ports. We clean and test each burner before we touch the oven. Inside the oven, the bake element, the temperature sensor and the door gasket decide whether food browns evenly, and those are the pieces we check first when a cake comes out lopsided.
A gas smell is a signal to leave and call the gas utility from outside, then call us.
It is a 36-inch range, so it needs a 36-inch opening. A 30-inch cutout would need cabinet changes before this model could be installed. We can confirm the gas and power connections when we service it.
A weak or burnt bake element is the usual cause, followed by a sensor that reads high and shuts the heat off early. We test the element's resistance and compare the sensor to a thermometer.
We pull the cap and clean the ports, then check that the burner base is seated and the gas orifice is clear. A partially blocked orifice or port causes a weak flame, and cleaning restores it in most cases.
