At 48 inches wide, the K48CONX/14 is a large wallmount hood in the Professional Series, built to sit over a wide range. Its single motor is rated at 600 CFM, which means a wide hood is spread across a motor that must work hard to cover the cooking surface.
On a wide hood like this, filters take the first look: there are more of them and they fill with grease at different rates.
