The KPH36XT is a 36-inch chimney hood for wall mounting, with a single motor rated at 600 CFM. Compared with its two-motor sibling, it is the lighter-duty choice for homes where the range sees everyday meals more than constant searing.
With one motor doing the work, small changes show up fast: a little grease on the wheel or filters and the draw falls off. We begin with the filters, then remove what is needed to see the blower wheel and check the motor bearings. Lamps and switches are tested last. The chimney cover comes off as needed, and we put it back square. We reinstall the chimney cover square to the wall when we finish.
