Bertazzoni KU24PRO1X/14 Canopy Hood Service
The KU24PRO1X/14 is a 24-inch wall-mount canopy hood with one motor and a maximum extraction power of 600 CFM. Its sound rating runs from 1.2 to 4.9 Sones, which is quiet for the airflow it offers. Narrow wall hoods like this are common over compact ranges.
Because a small canopy has less space for steam to collect, the filters do heavy duty. We begin with them, then look at the wheel and the motor mount. If the sound rises above its usual range, we check whether a loose filter, a dirty wheel or the motor is the reason. Lamps and controls complete the check.
Pricing is put in writing before we begin, and we cover our work with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Filters clogged with grease are the most common reason. They hold back the airflow of a 600 CFM motor in a small canopy. We clean or replace them and check the duct and damper.
Width matters for capture, since steam spreads beyond a narrow canopy. We service the hood as it is and can discuss how its width matches your cooktop.
A loose filter, a bent wheel fin or a small piece of debris can tick as the fan accelerates. We open the housing, remove the cause, and test each speed.
