On the Bertazzoni CM242WTXT built-in coffee machine, this message means the grinding is too fine. Coffee is delivered too slowly or not at all. It can also mean an air bubble in the circuit when the water softener filter is fitted. The remedy is to adjust the grind level by one level, and only while the grinder is operating. Owners see a weak trickle or an empty cup.
1. Start a coffee and, while the grinder is running, turn the grind setting one level coarser. 2. Make another cup and see whether the flow improves. 3. If a water filter is fitted, run a rinse so air can leave the circuit. 4. If coffee still flows slowly or not at all, call us.
The setting is meant to be adjusted while the grinder is running. Moving it at rest can jam the mechanism, so move it just one level at a time as it grinds.
With the softener filter fitted, an air bubble in the circuit can produce the same slow or missing flow. Running water through the circuit usually pushes the air out.
If coffee comes out thin and slow, with dark, tightly packed grounds, the grind is too fine. Coarser by one level often corrects it. If not, we examine the brewing path.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
