On the Bertazzoni CM242WTXT built-in coffee machine, "Insert water outlet" means the hot water spout is not inserted or has been inserted incorrectly. Hot water and some drinks cannot be dispensed until the spout is in place. Owners see the message after removing the spout to clean it, or if it was not pushed all the way home. The machine itself is otherwise ready to brew, so the cause is usually a part that is out of place.
1. Switch the machine off and look at the spout position. 2. Rinse the spout and check that its opening is clear. 3. Push it firmly into its housing until it seats. 4. Dry the spout and its housing with a soft cloth before refitting it. 5. If the message stays, call us.
It is the spout used for hot water. The machine wants it fitted before it dispenses, so hot water does not spray where it should not.
The machine senses when the spout is seated. A spout that is only partly in place still shows the message, so give it a firm push.
Residue around the housing can stop the spout from seating. Rinse and descale as required, and if the message continues we would take a look.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
