Bertazzoni HER366BCFGMXT All-Gas Range Repair

The HER366BCFGMXT is a 36-inch all-gas range in the Heritage Series, with six brass burners and a cast-iron griddle. Everything cooks on gas, so it fits a freestanding opening with a gas shutoff close by and needs only an ordinary outlet for the controls.
A visit starts at the burners: spark, flame color and the way each cap sits. We then light the griddle burner and look along the plate for a flame that thins out or breaks up, which usually means the ports have collected grease. The oven is read against a thermometer to see whether it matches the setting.
If there is ever a gas smell, leave the house and call the gas utility from outside. After that, we will give you a written price before touching the range.
Grease and food residue collect in the small ports along the griddle burner and break the flame into patches. We remove the plate, clean the ports, and relight the burner to confirm the flame runs evenly along its length.
A clogged port or a worn electrode is the usual reason. We clean the burner head, check the electrode and its position, and test the spark module. Only the part that fails is replaced, and then the burner is relit.
An aging sensor or a gas valve that opens less than it should can both do this. We compare the oven with a separate thermometer, test the sensor, and check the gas flow before deciding which part to replace.
