Bertazzoni KCH24XV 24-inch Chimney Hood Repair
A compact 24-inch chimney hood, the KCH24XV serves both the Master Series and the Professional Series. One motor delivers up to 600 CFM and its rated sound ranges from 1.2 to 8.0 Sones, which makes it a capable hood for a narrow range or cooktop.
Because the space is small, grease reaches the filters quickly. We clean or replace them, run the motor through its speeds and compare the sound to the rated range, then test the lights and switch. The chimney sections are unfastened only if the blower must be reached. Our written price comes before any work, with a 30-day workmanship warranty on the repair.
If the lights flicker when the fan starts, mention it, because it can point to a loose connection rather than a failed bulb.
A narrow hood sits close to the burners and has less filter area. Washing the filters more often keeps the 600 CFM motor from straining.
The rated range reaches 8.0 Sones at the top. If the sound feels harsher than the range suggests, we check the wheel and the mounts for looseness or grease.
Yes. The chimney covers come off so we can reach the blower and wiring, and we refit them in the same position without marking the stainless finish or the wall.
