The KMC48X is a 48-inch contemporary canopy hood with a wall-mount design, a single motor and a maximum extraction power of 600 CFM. It is also sold as KMC48BI and KMC48NE, and its sound rating is 2.5 to 8.0 Sones.
A canopy this wide often hangs over a 48-inch range with six burners and a griddle or second oven. One motor has a lot of surface to cover, so owners notice any loss of pull quickly.
