Bertazzoni KU30PRO1X/14 30-Inch Canopy Hood
The KU30PRO1X/14 is a 30-inch wall-mount canopy hood, rated at 600 CFM with a single motor. Its sound rating of 1.2 to 8.0 Sones covers a quiet low setting and a strong high one. It is a standard match for a 30-inch Bertazzoni range along a wall.
The wide sound range means owners tend to get used to a gradual rise. We compare the sound at each speed with what the hood should do, starting with the filters. Next come the wheel and the motor mount, where uneven grease sets up vibration. The lamps and the control buttons are the last check. We also test the lamps under the canopy and clean the sockets if needed.
The price is written before we begin, and our 30-day workmanship warranty follows the work.
At full speed, yes, since that is the top of its range. If medium speed sounds like high speed did before, grease on the wheel or filters is likely and a cleaning helps.
It is part of the model number as sold. We use the full number when we look up filters and parts, so please quote it as it appears on the hood.
High heat and oil create heavy grease, which loads the filters faster. Running the fan on high and washing the filters more often keeps the 600 CFM motor working freely.
