Bertazzoni MAS305DFMBG Dual Fuel Repair

Dual fuel means gas burners on top and an electric oven below, and the MAS305DFMBG delivers that in a 30-inch freestanding range with gold accents. It is also sold as the MAS305DFMNG. Five burners on a 30-inch top is a busy layout, so the burner caps and ports sit close together.
That is why cleaning matters on this range: a boil-over can reach two or three ports at once, and igniters are easily soaked. We check every burner, then move to the oven, where the electric element and temperature sensor decide whether the bake is even. The door gasket gets a look too, since heat leaking past it mimics a cool oven.
Gas odor anywhere near the range means everyone goes outside and the utility gets the call first.
The burners run on gas, which responds instantly, while the oven heats electrically for steady bake temperatures. Because the sources differ, we diagnose them separately: the spark and gas flow for the top, the element and sensor for the oven.
An aging bake element, a drifting sensor or a worn door seal can all cause hot and cold spots. We test the element's output, compare the sensor to a thermometer and inspect the gasket.
We remove the cap and clean the ports, then check the igniter and the gas flow to that burner. A partially blocked port is the most common reason, and clearing it usually restores a full flame.
