It is usually installed flush within a run of cabinets, so the door has to travel cleanly and the panel has to line up with its neighbors. Small adjustments can make a big difference to how it looks.

Why does the door no longer sit flush with my cabinets?

The sliding mechanism or its mounting may have shifted, or the panel weight may be pulling it out of line. We adjust the track and mounting without disturbing the cooling system.

My ice maker stopped making ice. What do you check?

We start with the water supply and the fill valve, then the ice maker's cycle and the freezer temperature. A jam in the mold is another common cause.

Is a humming fan sound normal?

A soft hum is normal. A rattle, scrape or sudden loudness points to the evaporator fan, and we check its blade and motor. We also check that nothing inside the freezer is touching the fan cover.
