Bertazzoni built-in electric ovens of the XV generation, for example the F30CONXV, and the DFS XT dual-fuel ranges list "Oven is not heating" as an owner check rather than a numbered code. The oven needs proper electrical power and a temperature actually selected on the knob. On the DFS XT ranges the guidance also adds the circuit breaker or fuse box. The owner sees lights or a fan but no rise in oven temperature.
1. Turn the function knob to a bake setting and the temperature knob to a clear temperature such as 350F. 2. Confirm the oven light and cooling fan come on, which shows power is reaching it. 3. Check the breaker or fuse box for the oven circuit and reset the breaker once if it tripped. 4. Give the oven 15 minutes to heat before judging it. 5. If it is still cold, stop and call us.
Not necessarily. The light runs on a different path than the heating. Check that a temperature is selected on the knob first. If it is and the oven stays cold, a heating part or control needs a technician.
A plain bake at 350F with the function and temperature knobs both set. Broil and convection settings have their own limits, so a mismatch between knobs can look like a cold oven.
Roughly 10 to 20 minutes to reach 350F in a normal oven. If the temperature rise is far slower or does not happen at all after that time, schedule a visit; we give the price in writing before any work.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
