On Bertazzoni built-in bottom-mount refrigerators with a TFT display, such as the REF30BMBIPRT and REF36BMBIXRT, and on the columns, an open yellow padlock is normally displayed and you can scroll and select the temperature. A closed yellow padlock appears when a function such as Vacation, Shopping or FlexMode has been set. The temperature cannot be changed until the function is completed or deactivated manually.
1. Open the function menu on the display. 2. Look for the active function: Vacation, Shopping or FlexMode. 3. Deactivate that function by selecting it again and confirming. 4. Wait for the open padlock to return on the screen. 5. Then adjust the temperature as usual, and check the setting after a few minutes.
The closed padlock means a function such as Vacation, Shopping or FlexMode is active and is holding the temperature. Finish or turn off that function and the padlock opens.
Deactivate the active function from the display, whether it is Vacation, Shopping or FlexMode. When that function is off, the padlock opens and the temperature can be set again like normal.
A function runs until it is completed or you turn it off by hand. If you are unsure which one is on, look through the function menu.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
