On current Bertazzoni Heritage, Professional and Master dishwashers such as the DW24T3IXV, DW24S3IPV and DW18S2IPV, FF means a failure of the water inlet system. The dishwasher cannot take in water properly. The recommended steps are to make sure the inlet tap is open and water is flowing, detach the inlet hose and clean its filter, then contact service if it continues.
1. Press Cancel. 2. Make sure the inlet tap under the sink is fully open. 3. Turn the tap off, then detach the inlet hose from the dishwasher with a towel ready for drips. 4. Rinse the small filter in the hose end under running water. 5. Reattach, open the tap and restart. If FF returns, call us.
It sits in the end of the inlet hose where it meets the dishwasher. With the tap off, you can unscrew the hose and rinse it under water to remove grit.
They both report a water intake problem. E1 is used on legacy models such as the DW24XV and DW24PR, while FF belongs to the current Heritage, Professional and Master line.
Then the inlet valve or its control is the next suspect. Leave the dishwasher off and call us. We will test the valve and quote in writing before starting work.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
