On the Bertazzoni CM242WTXT built-in coffee machine, "Insert milk container" means the milk container is not inserted correctly. Milk drinks cannot be made until it is seated. Owners see this when the container is missing, tilted or pushed in only part way, for example after washing it or filling it for a cappuccino. The rest of the machine is unaffected, and coffee without milk usually still brews.
1. Take the milk container out and check its lid and tubes. 2. Rinse the connection area and dry it. 3. Push the container in until it sits firmly. 4. Wipe the outside of the container and dry it before refitting. 5. If the message remains, call us.
The machine draws milk through the container's tubes. If it is not seated correctly, the tubes cannot connect, so milk drinks are blocked until the container clicks into place.
It can. Residue around the connection can stop the container from seating all the way. Rinse the fitting with warm water, dry it and push the container in firmly before you try a milk drink again.
That depends on how the machine reads the prompt. If the message stays after you seat the container correctly, call us and we will check the connection.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
