Bertazzoni PE304TB TFT Cooktop Repair

The PE304TB brings a TFT color display to a 30-inch induction cooktop, with four zones whose power level and timers show right on the glass. Installed over a base cabinet or a wall oven, it relies on the screen for every adjustment, so a dim or flickering display is more than a cosmetic nuisance.
When the screen looks fine but a zone stays cold, the issue sits further down, in the coil, the power board or the pan sensor. We separate the two by testing each zone against the display, which saves replacing a good part. If the screen itself dims, we check the connection to the display and the board that drives it.
We provide a written price before we start, and our work comes with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Switch the cooktop off at the breaker for a minute and restart. If the flicker returns, we test the display connection and the control board, since the zones depend on that board.
The screen only reports the command. Heating depends on the coil, the power board and pan detection. We test those separately to find the stage that stopped.
It runs during and after cooking to cool the electronics. If it stays loud or never stops, dust or a worn bearing is likely, and we clean or test it.
