The MAST304QBXT is a 30-inch Master Series gas cooktop with four brass burners, one of them a 17,000 BTU power burner for fast boiling and searing. It drops into a standard 30-inch cutout, so it often replaces an older cooktop or sits beside a wall oven stack.
The power burner moves the most gas, so a partly blocked port shows there first as a weak or ragged flame. We pull the cap, clean the head and look at the electrode that sparks near it.
