Bertazzoni PROF30CSEX Steam Oven Service

The PROF30CSEX is a Professional Series convection steam oven, 30 inches wide, with a touch display and a removable water reservoir. It commonly sits at eye level in a wall column, so the display and the door see daily handling.
The steam system is the part that ages first. Mineral scale narrows the lines and coats the generator, so steam builds slowly or stops partway through a cycle. The door lock can also misbehave after a long high-heat cycle, leaving the oven reluctant to start the next one. The touch display depends on a dry panel.
We descale the steam path, inspect the reservoir and lock, test the sensor and run a full cycle to confirm steam output. A 30-day workmanship warranty covers our repair.
Let the oven cool fully, then try again. If the door stays locked, the latch motor or switch may be failing. We test the lock path, free the latch and replace the part that does not respond.
Scale in the generator or lines can cut steam off once heat builds. We descale the system, check the reservoir seat and run a test cycle to confirm steady output.
Not necessarily. Moisture or residue on the glass often slows input. We clean the surface, check the ribbon connection and replace the display only if the board fails the test.
