On current Bertazzoni Professional, Master and Heritage ranges and the PROF30FSEXV, PRO304BFGMXT and MAS304BFGMXT ovens, a little condensation is normal. Some moisture always evaporates from the food during cooking, and it condenses on any surface cooler than the inside of the oven, such as the control panel or door glass. Condensation is less likely when the oven has been pre-heated.
1. Pre-heat the oven fully before putting food in. 2. Avoid opening the door more than you need to. 3. Cover very wet dishes where the recipe allows it. 4. Wipe the glass and the control panel with a soft dry cloth once the oven is off. 5. If water drips onto the floor or the controls, call us.
No. Food gives off moisture as it cooks, and it condenses on cooler surfaces like the glass or the control panel. This is normal behavior for any oven.
Pre-heat the oven before putting food in, because condensation is less likely when the oven is already hot. Also keep door openings short, and cover very wet dishes when the recipe allows it.
If water runs down into the control panel or drips constantly, or the controls act strangely, switch the oven off and call us. We can check the door seal and the vent.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
