Bertazzoni MAS366BCFGMXT Griddle Range Service

With six brass burners and a cast iron griddle, the MAS366BCFGMXT is a 36-inch all-gas Master Series range for cooks who flip pancakes on Sunday and sear steaks on Friday. Gas feeds both the cooktop and the oven, so the range depends on a good supply line and a clean burner bay.
Griddles shed grease, and over time that grease cooks onto the burner and valve beneath it. A griddle burner that will not stay lit often has a blocked port or a flame that cannot hold, so we clean first and test second. We also check that the six brass burners show even flames, and we turn each knob through its full travel to feel for roughness near the heat of the griddle.

The flame is not holding, usually from blocked ports, a misseated burner or a sensing problem. We clean it, set it correctly and test the flame detection so the burner stays lit through a full cook.
Yes. Grease that runs down cooks onto the ports and igniter, causing poor lighting and uneven flame. Regular wiping of the plate helps, and we clean the burner area during service.
This is an all-gas range, so the oven is gas as well. It lights through an igniter and safety valve, and we test those when the oven is slow to heat.
