Bertazzoni PE304INDXV Induction Service

The PE304INDXV is a 30-inch Professional Series induction cooktop with four zones, usually installed over a wall oven or a base cabinet in a remodeled kitchen. The bridge function lets two zones act as one large area for a griddle or a roasting pan.
If the bridge will not link, we test both zones individually first, because a weak zone cannot join its neighbor. Then we look at the coils, the sensing circuit and the control board. Power boost puts extra load on the electronics, so airflow under the glass gets checked as well.
Where the touch panel misbehaves, a thorough cleaning and a dry panel often settle it before we need to test any board. We give you the price in writing first, and our repairs include a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Both zones need to work on their own and sense the pan. A weak coil or sensor on either side stops the link, so we test each zone, then the control board.
It sends extra power to a zone for fast heating, which also raises heat in the electronics. If boost shuts off early, we check airflow, the fan and the board temperature sensing.
Often it is only moisture or a film of residue on the glass, which the sensors read as touches. We clean and dry the surface first, and we test the touch panel and its board if the beeping returns afterward.
