Bertazzoni PROF366DFSXT Dual Fuel Range

A Professional Series dual fuel range, the PROF366DFSXT has six brass burners on a 36-inch cooktop with an electric self-clean oven beneath. It tends to anchor a large kitchen where cooks want gas flame on top and the steadier heat of an electric oven for baking.
Our work follows the two halves of the range. On top we clean and test each brass burner, looking at port condition, cap seating and igniter spark. Below, we look at the bake element, the sensor and the self-clean lock, because uneven baking and a stuck lock are the oven’s usual complaints. For a gas smell, go outside and call the gas utility first.
The price is quoted in writing before we start, and a 30-day workmanship warranty applies to the repair.
The lock holds the door through the cycle and the cool-down. If it will not release afterward, the latch or lock motor may be sticking, and we test both.
Often it is the bake element or a sensor that reads wrong. We measure the element and check actual oven temperature, and we also confirm the rack position and door seal are not the cause.
Residue in the ports or a cap that is not seated flat. After cleaning, a steady ring of flame should form. If it does not, we check gas flow at that burner.
