On Bertazzoni built-in bottom-mount refrigerators with a TFT display, such as the REF30BMBIPRT and REF36BMBIXRT, "Fresco too warm" means the fresh food zone is warmer than the temperature that was set. The guidance is to follow the troubleshooting guide for the appliance. The owner sees the message on the display and finds fresh food, drinks or dairy in that zone that is not as cold as it should be.
1. Check that both doors are shut and nothing holds them open. 2. Look at the door seals for gaps or dirt. 3. Give the unit a few hours to recover after a big load. 4. Clean the condenser if the Check Cond reminder is due. 5. If the zone stays warm, move perishables to a cooler and call us.
Door seals, a recent warm load and a dirty condenser are the usual reasons. If those are ruled out, a cooling part in the fresh zone may need a technician.
Normally a few hours after you close the doors and stop loading warm food. If the zone has not come down after about 12 hours, schedule a visit.
It is for food. If the zone reads above 40F for more than a couple of hours, move perishables to a cooler with ice and have it looked at.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
