Bertazzoni PROF24FSEXV 24-inch Oven Service

At 24 inches wide, the PROF24FSEXV is the compact member of the Professional Series wall ovens, often chosen for smaller kitchens, condo remodels or as a second oven beside a larger one. The electronic touch display is its main point of contact, so many service calls begin with a screen that ignores a tap or an oven that no longer follows the temperature entered.
We check the display and its ribbon connection first, then compare the cavity with a reference thermometer to judge the sensor. The convection fan is run at speed and listened to, and the door latch is cycled once. Because the cabinet opening is narrow, we plan access from the front whenever possible. A written price is agreed before work starts, with a 30-day workmanship warranty afterward.
Not always. Moisture, a loose ribbon connection or a worn control board can all cause it. We test the connection and the board before suggesting a new display, since the display alone is rarely the whole story.
The tighter cabinet leaves less working room, but most parts are reachable from inside the cavity or at the front. We only slide the oven out when a rear part has to be replaced.
The latch is built to hold until the cavity cools. If it remains locked once the oven is cold, the latch motor or position switch is usually the cause, and we test both on the spot.
