On Bertazzoni knob-controlled 30-inch electric wall ovens like the F30PROXV, F30CONXV and FD30PROXV, and on DFS XT dual-fuel ranges, a CLEAN light that flashes with the sound alarm off means the self-clean cycle was interrupted before it finished. One of the two oven selectors was moved off CLEAN, either on purpose or by accident, so the incomplete cleaning cycle stopped.
1. Turn both oven selectors to OFF. 2. Wait until the oven cools below 500F so the door latch can release. 3. Make sure the oven cavity is empty and the racks are out if the instructions say so. 4. Select the clean cycle again and leave both selectors alone. 5. If the light keeps flashing with no cause, call us.
No. On these ovens it means the cleaning cycle was interrupted because a selector was moved off CLEAN. Resetting both selectors to OFF and starting again normally solves it.
The latch stays locked while the oven is hot. It releases when the temperature drops below 500F, so wait with both selectors at OFF before trying the door.
Yes. An interrupted cycle is not finished, so select CLEAN again once the oven is cool enough and the latch has released. Do not move the selectors during the cycle.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
