The REF36PRR is a 36-inch built-in bottom-mount refrigerator made to take custom panels, so it blends with the cabinets around it. Versions sold alongside it are REF36PIXL, REF36PIXR and REF36PRL. In most installations it fills a wide opening in a cabinet wall, with the doors above the freezer drawer.

Two wide panel doors add a lot of weight, and the hinges, gaskets and the center seal have to keep up. As they wear, the panels shift and the gasket gap grows. The result is warm air and frost that you may not see until the freezer is coated.

We check door position, seals, fan and defrost operation, then confirm the cabinet clearance. A written price is given before any repair, and we back the work with a 30-day workmanship warranty. If the freezer drawer starts to frost over, call early so we can find the cause before the drawer jams.

Why does one of my panels look lower than the other?

A heavy panel can pull a hinge down over time. We readjust the door height, check the center seal and make sure both panels close at the same angle.

What if the freezer drawer is covered in ice?

Ice means warm air is entering or the defrost cycle is not clearing the evaporator. We examine the drawer seal and the heater, thaw the ice fully and test the fan before closing the unit.

Will the hinge-side versions need different parts?

The REF36PIXL, REF36PIXR and REF36PRL share the same cooling system. Door hardware may differ by hinge side, and we confirm the right parts for your model before ordering.
